Getting Started
Collect The Alphabet has one of the clearest pitches on Roblox: collect all 26 letters from A to Z. You open letter packs, mount the letters you pull on your board, and the board pays you money every second. That money buys upgrades, the upgrades make packs come faster and luckier, and the loop repeats until your wall spells out the whole alphabet — and keep going past that, because fully collecting everything (letters, numbers and symbols) earns the exclusive Master Collector title, added September 19, 2026. This guide walks you through the first hour.
Before you start
- Servers hold 6 players. Everyone works on their own board, so it plays like a solo collecting game with company nearby.
- Redeem the codes first.
MASTER,RANDOM,UPDATE3,VOLCANO,TIME,SEPTEMBER,OPCODE,1MMEMBERSandSORRYare all live right now (checked September 20, 2026) — together they grant fourteen free Mythic Packs and five luck potions. See the codes page for the exact steps (Settings menu, enter the code, press Submit). - Join the group. The official description promises a free reward for joining the Cosmic Collection group — claim it before you start grinding.
- The game updates every Saturday (with smaller patches some Wednesdays) at 12:00 PM Eastern (the time was moved from 11:00 AM on September 20), so expect new systems to appear regularly.
Step 1 — Open your first letter packs
You start with a small supply of packs. Opening one drops letters of different rarities, from Common all the way up to MYTHIC. Don’t overthink your first few packs — the game walks you through mounting letters on your board, and early duplicates are fine because every spare letter can be sold.
Step 2 — Mount letters on your board
Mounted letters are your income. Each letter on the board earns money every second, and rarer letters earn more. Your board is also your progress tracker: it shows which of the 26 letters you already own, so the fastest way to see “what’s left” is to glance at the wall and find the gaps.
Step 3 — Spend your first cash on upgrades
Three upgrade tracks matter, and all three are worth pushing early:
- Money — raises your income per second, which compounds into everything else.
- Luck — improves what the packs can drop. More luck means more rare pulls from the same packs.
- Pack speed — shortens the wait between packs, which keeps you actually playing instead of staring at a timer.
The August 24 patch also added Pack Amount upgrades, which let you place more packs down at once — after a community vote passed with 100% Yes, more pack space upgrades are on the roadmap too.
Step 4 — Spell the Word of the Day
The Word of the Day board asks you to spell a specific word with your spare letters. Spelling it correctly earns a prize, and since the August 28 update it can also unlock Numbers Packs — a separate pack line themed around digits. Daily rewards work alongside it, so it’s worth logging in each day even for a short session.
Step 5 — Sell spares for diamonds
Every duplicate letter can be sold for diamonds, the premium currency earned purely by playing. Diamonds buy secret SYMBOL packs — a hidden pack line beyond the standard letter packs. Early on, sell aggressively: duplicate Commons are worth more as diamonds funding your first Symbol Pack than as an extra letter sitting in your inventory.
What to do in week one
- Redeem all active codes and claim the group reward.
- Push all three upgrade tracks evenly — money first when in doubt.
- Log in daily for the Word of the Day and daily rewards.
- Watch the shop: the global shop stock resets every 20 minutes and can carry 2x Luck and 2x Mutation boosts.
- Once your board fills in, start hunting mutations — Neon and Rainbow variants of letters pulled from any pack, plus the Dark mutation on numbers and symbols added September 12.
